The Glenn "Doc" Miller Most Valuable Player award will be given to the outstanding player in football as determined by the coaches and athletic directors from the three schools. It is given in memory of an outstanding Rotarian, Glenn "Doc" Miller, great athlete and president of the Waterloo Rotary Club in 1954. Glenn was captain of the University of Iowa Football Team in 1923 and a player on the great Iowa teams of 1921-22, which beat Yale.

The students are asked to orally present a brief resume to the club at the first meeting of the month. At the last meeting of the month, students are presented with a certificate of participation in the program.
Budget Requirements: The club supplies meals and certificates for the students. Cost is estimated at $30 for certificates. Meal costs are at $7.06 * 110 meals (22 weeks * 5 students each week) = $776.60. With a total cost of the program at $806.60.
Rotarians serve as drivers for the students; picking them up and dropping them back off at their respective schools.
