"Hops" Chair Phil Nash reported results of vote at December 7 meeting.

Club members have selected the Boys and Girls Club to share profits of next spring's Hops and Grapes fundraiser with club giving and club projects.
Members voted December 7 on a list of non profits representing those with at least one employee club member. You may recall that we had voted once before but accidently left one non-profit off the ballot, requiring a second vote.
Here's how the proceeds will be divided according to Nash: Twenty five percent off the top will be put in a fund to cover our club's donations to area charities. The remaining 75 percent will be split between the Boys and Girls Club and Waterloo Rotary Club programs such as college scholarships. The scholarship fund has been depleted in recent years by declining membership and a trend by several members to avoid the opportunity to make a gift at the monthly birthday table.
