Mary McCoy recounted her adventures in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, where she studied International Health as a Global Grant Scholar Recipient through the Rotary Foundation.
 
 
Mary McCoy was selected as a Global Grant Scholar by the Rotary Club of Waterloo and District 5970 in 2014. She graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in May 2014 with a degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Biology. Mary spent 18 months in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia where she completed a Masters of International Public Health at the University of Queensland. The focus of her masters was improving health in developing countries, specifically populations in transitional periods like refugees.
