District Governor Jim Coloff Brought greetings from the Rotary District level and invited us to attend the District Conference in the spring.
 
 
 
Jim Coloff is a 23 year member Rotary.  Coloff’s Rotary involvement includes service as Club President, GSE Team Leader to Germany, District GSE Committee Chair and his family has hosted three Rotary exchange students.
 
Coloff owns and operates 11 radio stations, all located in District 5970.  He is also President of Coloff Digital, a web-site development and on-line marketing company.
 
Coloff is Co-Founder and Director of Magical Mix Kids, a 501-C3 non-profit charity that has taken over 200 chronic and terminally ill children on an all-expenses paid trip to Disney World. 
 
He and his wife Amy have 3 children and reside in Cedar Falls. 
 
He has served as Chairman of the Cedar Falls Chamber of Commerce and Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center Boards, President of the Iowa Broadcasters Association, and board member of the Mason City Chamber of Commerce, Cedar Falls Community Theatre, Western Home Communities and Covenant Medical Center Foundation.
 
He has been recognized with the Broadcaster of the Year award from the Iowa Broadcasters Association, Business Leader of the Year by the Cedar Valley Chamber of Commerce, Citizen of Character and Young Entrepreneur Award from Eastern Iowa Junior Achievement.
