If you are thinking of attending the Rotary International convention in Atlanta next month, consider this:

A nonstop flight from Cedar Rapids to Atlanta is available to District 5970 Rotarians attending the international convention. The flight will leave Cedar Rapids at 11:15 a.m. June 10, arriving in Atlanta at 2:18 p.m. The return flight leaves Atlanta at 9:40 a.m. June 15 and arrives in Cedar Rapids at 10:39 a.m. Cost is $457.60 per person.

Now, we have the Executive Director for the Waterloo Airport, Keith Kaspari among our members, and he said:

I did a recent check for a friend of mine who needs to get 3 of her employees to ATL.

My last minute check for her revealed that I was able to find the last three seats out of ALO to ATL for – and this includes taxes, $371.00.

Now, she had some travel flexibility so she was able to travel the day before her original departure date, but traveling a day early saved her a ton o’ bucks.

Thought – just because Cedar Rapids has direct service from CID to ATL – with 2 trips per day, does not mean that you will always find a cheaper fare.

Summary:  Give Waterloo a try, where every seat is First Class!
