NO MEETING MEMORIAL DAY

Have a safe Memorial Day Weekend, and remember this holiday is to honor those who have died serving our country in the armed forces. Memorial Day was held annually on May 30th until 1970 when it was set to the last Monday in May. It has been referred to as the "unofficial start to summer" and gets tied in with marketing for mattress sales, car sales, and BBQ. This Memorial Day, please be sure to honor those lives given for our country, and cherish the freedoms those sacrifices have afforded us.

May 27th: No Meeting, Memorial Day

June 3rd: OFF-SITE MEETING: Steve Carignan with the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Center will be presenting the new shows that will be coming in the upcoming season. This program is always exciting and should highlight the great entertainment available to the Cedar Valley. We will meet at the Gallagher Bluedorn in Cedar Falls.

June 10th: Jessica Christensen with the Cedar Bend Humane Society will have pets in need of homes as well as discussing the services that the Humane Society provide.

June 24^th: Mark Oliver from Bergan KDV will be presenting on the “do’s and don’ts” of cybersecurity.

July 1^st: Norman Usery and the Waterloo Community Playhouse Preview of Beauty and the Beast.

July 8^th: No Meeting, 4^th of July.
