The show has very little spoken dialogue, it is sung-through almost completely. It runs under two hours and is occasionally performed without intermission. It has a family-friendly storyline, universal themes, and catchy music. Written by the team of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice.

Rotary Summer Break
We will not have a regular Monday meeting on June 28th due to the annual Steak Fry this week. We will also honor this year's legal public holiday Monday July 5th, since the 4th of July falls on a Sunday.

Time to sign up for shoeboxes
In early July we will be asked to sign up to fill one or more shoeboxes for the children in
Many of the 35 other organizations which help us annually have already committed to help again, but only half of our own members did so in 2009. Average cost is less than $40 if you shop the sales.
If you can't shop yourself, you can make a cash donation to The Community Foundation and we'll find someone to shop for you. Be sure to mark your check " |

Rotary's Leadership rolls over July 1

In our club Amber Jedlicka will assume the tough task of taking the reins from President Steve Carignan. Outgoing board members include Ken Cutts, Sue Hennings, Al Ricks, Sindee Kleckner , Tom Arthur and Sue Beach. They will be replaced by Tunis Den Hartog, Patty Achey Cutts, Annie Vander Werff, Bryan Burton and Harrison Cass. Amber's two-year term had ended, but as President, she's continue.
