Our District celebration is quickly approaching and there is a lot to share with you!  This is a special event hosted by District Governor Joe Gitta, and it will be taking place right here in Waterloo!  We are hoping to have a HUGE presence at the event!

The Celebration:
Friday night welcome Reception, Kick-off Carnival and New Generation youth party - cocktails, appetizers, the Brazilian 2wins, dancing, and fun
Saturday day - breakfast, speakers, workshops, service project, lunch, Gift Exchange and more
Saturday evening - Celebrating the Gift of Rotary, key note speaker, dinner and dancing with Bill Shepherd and his Big Band
There will be a Bingo Rewards card for family members to experience the best of what downtown Waterloo has to offer.  Attendees and family members will receive a bingo card with discounts to area stores, restaurants, and museums

Joe is offering a discounted admission for all first-time attendees and he is offering discounted admission for volunteers! There is separate pricing for Friday night, Saturday day and Saturday evening if you are not able to attend the entire weekend, but there is also a package deal if you are able to be there for ALL of the fun.  It takes five minutes (or less) on line!  Click here to register today!

First Time Attendee/Volunteer:
Entire Event: $75
Friday Evening: $20
Saturday Day: $30
Saturday Dinner: $30
We are looking for volunteers for the event.  We have a variety of shifts and duties available and we will make sure you get to enjoy and participate in the event as well as work.  Please contact Jessica Rucker if you are able to help.

A big part of District Celebration is our service project.  Come join the fun and help us for only quarters.  This year we will be working with outreach to put together meals that will be distributed to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank as well as the Shoebox Project sending meals to undernourished families overseas.  How can you help?  Bring quarters to this week's Rotary meeting, bring quarters to District Celebration, and/or volunteer to help pack bags.
  • Each meal is $0.25, if you were to donate $5, you would be enabling us to make 20 meals.
