Hartman Reserve closing in on funding goal
If grant from Black Hawk Gaming is approved, goal will be about $150,000 away
Vern Fish, director of Black Hawk County's Conservation Board reported Friday that it will submit a grant application to the gaming group next week, and if it is approved, the commission will be close to its goal of $2 million which will fund remodeling of the existing lodge.
Members of our club voted last year to support the project as part of its 100th anniversary efforts. Wheater or not it is begun this year depends on completing the drive.
