We will hear from the owners about their journey to Waterloo and their business in Waterloo. Since 2022, more than 1,000 Haitians and their families have made their homes in Waterloo and the surrounding communities. Jean and his wife, The Chef, know the value of offering a home-cooked meal, inclusive of all the familiar tastes of home. That is why, they decided to put their entrepreneurial and culinary skills to work by opening a Caribbean cuisine restaurant and bar right here in Waterloo. The menu boasts delicious rice and beans, chicken, fresh vegetables (with a kick), bullion soups, pattees, fried plantains, and the fixings that make for a beautiful, mouth-watering meal. Of course, no Haitian meal would be complete without an ice-cold Haitian Prestige beer.
