Cathy recently conducted a survey which about 20 Rotarians responded to. Here are the results.
FOR THE ROTARY 2024-2025 CLUB YEAR:
1. What should the club STOP doing?
Hot meals
Supporting only non-profits
Rural Urban Day
Being Content with the Convention Center’s bad sound system(s).
Try to find programs that are not non-profits
Too many non-profit programs
Starting the meeting so soon after 12 pm because the meeting seems to adjourn early, so there is more time
for conversation.
Go back to the 4-way test, rather than the 5-way test.

Recalling Rotary’s beginning with a return to business related topics and opportunities
for new members to mingle and demonstrate their interests and skills
More offsite meetings or service projects during regular meeting times
Recruitment efforts in the 30-45-year-old range
Get more business-related programs
Exchange Rotary members with close clubs, CF, Waverly, etc. Maybe 1 time a month
More topical and educational presentations
Have more presidential candidates prior to the caucuses, be invited to speak or perhaps in joint meetings
with other Rotary’s.
Exchange member with CF, more business owners to speak on their success.

Love the Family picnic -3 and honors luncheon-5

7. Our food prices have doubled since the last time dues were raised 9 years ago, should we continue to stay at
the convention center? Do you have any ideas on other meeting places or how to reduce costs?
Open to suggestions, not opposed to staying here
Maybe one less meeting a month, its hard because of the size of the group
