Last week the UNI Panthers Rotaract kickoff picnic, sponsored by the Cedar Valley and Cedar Falls Rotary Clubs, was held. I am pleased to report that it was a resounding success.

Over 60 students showed up to find out more about Rotaract (The offer of free food did not hurt either). President of UNI and Cedar Falls Rotarian, Dr. Bill Ruud, was on hand to greet the student and talk about the Family of Rotary.  All in all a great time; and a new Rotaract club for our District is well under way.  (To top it off while there, a younger student came to ask me how he could start and Interact club at a High School in Waterloo.  Rotary Family grows.)
