And it deserves our increased support

Yes, our foundation is a big deal—starting with $26.50 in 1913, it now has total assets of nearly $600 million. Several years ago its board of trustees decided to focus grants in six areas:
--Maternal and child health
--Water and sanitation
--Disease prevention and treatment
--Basic education and literacy
--Economic/community development, and
--Peace and conflict resolution.

If those goals sound familiar, they are very similar to those of the United Nations.

The Rotary Foundation transforms your gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.

During the past 100 years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

With your help, we can make lives better in your community and around the world.

For every $1 Rotary commits to polio eradication, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation has committed $2.

Give where the need is greatest

When you give to The Rotary Foundation, you fuel our service projects - projects that eradicate polio, promote peace, and improve developing communities.
